M.A., Humanities in Medicine, Taipei Medical University (2013-2018)
B.A., Chinese Literature, Tung-hai University (2003-2007)
I am now a freelance writer and currently enrolling in Chinese Literature at Tung-hai University (2018-).
Because I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I developed an interest in the transitional role between health and illness and the life narratives of patients after the onset of their illness. The title of my thesis at Taipei Medical University is "The suffering experiences and illness narratives of patients with multiple sclerosis." During my current studies at the Institute of Chinese Literature at Tung-hai University, I aim to further explore this disease and the body through cultural studies.
