As a non-medical professional with more than ten years of practical work experience in psychiatric assistance and care, I feel that "effective communication" and "quality of medical care" are inextricably linked to the process and outcome of medical treatment. This prompted me to understand more about how appropriate interaction ought to be achieved between healthcare professionals and the general public. 

For my thesis, I intend to focus on "the impact of institutional manpower on quality of care."

I am currently out of school due to illness. This gives me the unexpected opportunity to experience first-hand the actual process of being a patient in the current medical system.
