My name is Li-Kai Huang.
In addition to being a student of the Graduate Institute of Humanities in Medicine, I am also a neurologist who treats patients particularly people with Alzheimer dementia. In my daily practice, I came to realize that medical humanities cannot be dissociated from the social context. Through learning about and utilizing a wide range of knowledge from many academic fields, my understanding of health and disease has become more flexible. The research I am currently focusing on concerns improving the spatial navigation of people with Alzheimer dementia through vestibular rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation.
