I am a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine in private practice. When I was still a resident in the hospital, I found that a good doctor needs some degree of social sensitivity in addition to medical professionalism, in order to better understand patients and cooperate better with other team members. So I decided to study at Taipei Medical University's Graduate Institute of Humanities in Medicine. My Master Thesis title is “The Impact of Cross-Sector Alliance for Chinese Medicine Clinics on the Professional Development and Interaction of Chinese Medicine Practitioners.” I graduated in July 2018. Because I am also a mother, in addition to the medical environment, I am also concerned about the suitability of current social infrastructure and policies towards children. For example, I am particularly interested in childcare policies and whether roadway designs adequately protect pedestrians' rights. My time at this institute really expanded my horizons, allowing me to think more critical about diverse topics from different angles.
