Justine Rochot is a sociologist of aging and currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica. Her PhD in sociology, which she received in 2019 at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS, Paris), analyzed the spaces of sociability of recently retired one-child parents in contemporary China. She has since been based in Taiwan where she engaged in multiple qualitative research
projects related to aging, social participation and citizenship.
